Which no-KYC crypto exchange is the best?

There is no single answer. If you need Lightning, FixedFloat is the only one here that supports it. If you need thousands of long-tail assets, LetsExchange or ChangeNOW. If you want no account of any kind, a fee shown as a number and an optional Private Swap route, Swap.bz. Every service in this table relies on liquidity partners that can screen a flagged deposit — anyone promising “never any check” is not describing how instant exchanges work.

Do “no-KYC” exchanges really never ask for ID?

Most never ask upfront. Their terms, however, reserve the right to hold a flagged order and request identity or source-of-funds information. ChangeNOW additionally makes KYC mandatory for residents of listed jurisdictions. Read the AML page of any service before sending a large amount.

What happened to eXch?

eXch announced a voluntary shutdown for 1 May 2025; German authorities seized its servers and about €34M in crypto on 30 April 2025. It is offline. Some exchanges now treat eXch-linked funds as high-risk.

Why is Swap.bz in its own comparison?

“In rate” means the service margin is folded into the displayed exchange rate rather than shown as a percentage. “Risk-based” means the terms reserve the right to request identity or source-of-funds information when a deposit is flagged. Asset counts are the services’ own published figures.

How to read this table

All services listed are non-custodial instant exchanges: you send to a one-time deposit address and receive in your own wallet, without opening a trading account. None of them is a mixer, and none of them can promise that a deposit will never be screened — they all source liquidity from partners that run AML checks.

The meaningful differences are (1) whether an account or jurisdiction-based KYC is ever mandatory, (2) whether the fee is a visible number or hidden in the rate, (3) asset coverage, and (4) extras such as Lightning, fixed-rate locks or privacy routing.

Swap.bz’s position: no account, no upfront KYC anywhere, a flat 0.5% shown in the quote, an optional 1% Private Swap with extra hops, 100+ coins, and the whole flow available on the web and in Telegram. It does not have Lightning or thousands of long-tail tokens.
