eXch was a swapping service active since 2014 that advertised no identity checks and no data retention. On 30 April 2025 the German Federal Criminal Police (BKA) and the Frankfurt prosecutor’s office seized its servers and about €34M in crypto, one day before the operators’ own announced shutdown. The domain exch.cx no longer serves swaps.
Two things matter if you used eXch: the service is gone, and several other exchanges now treat funds that passed through eXch as high-risk. FixedFloat, for example, announced on 3 March 2025 that orders paid with funds linked to eXch would be suspended for source-of-funds verification.
Swap.bz is a non-custodial instant exchange with no account and no upfront KYC. It is not a mixer and it does not promise that nothing can ever be screened: partner liquidity can pause a flagged deposit, and support then handles the order with your order ID. What you get is a plain, fast swap flow — quote, deposit, receive — at a visible 0.5% fee, plus an optional 1% Private Swap route with extra hops.

Why people look for an alternative
- The service does not exist anymore; any site claiming to be eXch today is not the original operator.
- Funds with a traceable link to eXch are flagged by some exchanges (FixedFloat policy, March 2025). Check the counterparty’s AML terms before depositing.
- Swap.bz offers the same core flow — paste address, send, receive — without an account, and adds Telegram as a second channel.
Where eXch may still fit
- Not applicable — eXch is closed. If you need a Tor-only service with a zero-log promise, Swap.bz does not currently publish an .onion mirror.
