Mixer (tumbler)

A mixer pools coins from many users and returns different coins of equal value, obscuring the trail; it is legally risky and often sanctioned.

Mixers keep you in the same asset and rely on a pool. Several have been sanctioned or shut down, and funds that touched them are routinely flagged by AML tools — which can freeze later swaps.

On Swap.bz

Swap.bz is not a mixer and Private Swap does not pool funds. Deposits linked to sanctioned mixers may be flagged by liquidity partners like everywhere else.
