AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
Also: AML screening · chain analysis
AML screening is the automated analysis of a deposit’s on-chain history to detect links to sanctioned addresses, hacks, mixers or other high-risk sources.
Liquidity providers use chain-analysis vendors to score incoming deposits. A low-risk deposit is processed normally; a high-risk one may be held. Because every instant exchange depends on such providers, none of them can truthfully promise that a deposit is never screened.
On Swap.bz
Swap.bz documents this openly: a flagged deposit is paused and handled by support. The vast majority of swaps are never touched.
