Fees & rates
Fixed rate
A fixed-rate swap locks the receive amount for a set window (often 10–30 minutes) regardless of market moves.
The protection is priced in: fixed-rate tiers are typically 1% versus 0.5% floating. If the market moves beyond a threshold before your deposit lands, the order may be refunded or re-quoted.
On Swap.bz
Swap.bz uses a live quote per order rather than a long fixed-rate lock; the 1% tier is Private Swap, a different product.

Floating rate
A floating-rate swap is executed at the market rate at the moment your deposit is confirmed, so the receive amount can move up or down while you wait.
Quote
A quote is the receive amount an exchange commits to for a given input at that moment, including its fee and estimated network costs.
