Bitcoin (BTC)

Buy Bitcoin with Tether without opening an exchange account. Send USDT on the network you hold (ERC-20, TRC-20, Solana, BNB Chain, …), receive native BTC. The send network must be the one selected in the widget.

USDT transfers on Tron or Solana are usually fast; Ethereum USDT waits on gas. Bitcoin payout still needs a BTC send. Typical Standard time is about 10–25 minutes depending on which USDT chain you used and Bitcoin fees.

If your USDT is on Tron, select Tron in the widget — not Ethereum. Address formats can look similar enough to confuse a copy-paste; the network label in the quote is the source of truth.

0.5% Standard / 1% Private Swap plus the USDT-chain fee and Bitcoin miner fee. Minimum USDT is in the live quote. Selling BTC instead: BTC→USDT.

From your Tether wallet

Send USDT from any wallet you control — MetaMask (ERC-20), TronLink (TRC-20), Phantom (Solana), Trust Wallet or another self-custody wallet. You never connect a wallet to Swap.bz: the widget gives you a one-time deposit address and you send USDT to it like a normal transfer. Network: several — the widget shows which one. USDT exists on Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), BNB Chain, Solana and more. The network selected in the widget is the one used for the deposit and the payout; USDT on another network is a different token.

Receiving Bitcoin: address and network

Paste a BTC address from a wallet you control (Sparrow, Electrum, BlueWallet, Ledger or Trezor…). Payout network: Bitcoin (on-chain). Native BTC on the Bitcoin network only. Lightning invoices and wrapped bitcoin (WBTC, cbBTC, BTCB) are different assets. Set the refund address at the same time: it must be a USDT address, on the network you send from.

FAQ

USDT to BTC

How do I swap USDT to BTC without KYC?

Open /swap/usdt-to-btc, select your USDT network, paste a BTC address, send USDT to the deposit address shown for that network.

What is the fee to exchange USDT to BTC?

0.5% Standard or 1% Private Swap, plus USDT-chain transfer fees and Bitcoin network fees.

How long does a USDT to BTC swap take?

Often 10–25 minutes. Fast USDT chains (Tron, Solana) plus a Bitcoin payout; Ethereum USDT can add gas delay.

Is swapping USDT to BTC on Swap.bz custodial?

No. USDT to a one-time deposit, BTC to your wallet.

I sent ERC-20 USDT but selected Tron. Can you recover it?

Cross-network USDT sends are often unrecoverable. Always wait until the quote’s network label matches the wallet you are sending from. Contact support on Telegram with the txid if something already went out — recovery is not guaranteed.

Can I send USDC by mistake?

No. USDC is a different token. The deposit address is issued for USDT on a specific chain. Sending USDC, ETH, or TRX to that address will not buy BTC.

Can I swap USDT to BTC from MetaMask (ERC-20)?

Yes. Take the quote on Swap.bz, then send USDT from MetaMask (ERC-20) (or any other Tether wallet) to the deposit address shown. No wallet connection, no account. BTC arrives at the address you pasted.

Which network do I use to receive BTC?

Bitcoin (on-chain). Native BTC on the Bitcoin network only. Lightning invoices and wrapped bitcoin (WBTC, cbBTC, BTCB) are different assets.
